The Llama Magic Show-Off Show is designed as a fun show for youth and novice adults to get their feet wet in the show ring. It is a one-day show usually held on Mother's Day. Classes include obstacle, showmanship and non breeder halter classes, as well as fun contests like leaping llama, llama limbo and relay races. Youth judging is often offered, and a special youth show clinic is usually held just before the show. Entry fees are kept as low as possible, and those coming just for the day can work out of their trailers if they wish rather than renting a stall. Learning and having fun are stressed throughout the show.
